THE Opotiki Library holiday programme was in full flight on Thursday, with the children making cages and birds out of paper.
Library assistant Julia Burrup said the school holiday programme consisted of free activities starting at 10am weekdays and operating under the motto “winging it”.
Building bird boxes, flying frisbees and building Lego planes were all part of the fun.
“We’ve got it all going, from wise-owls to vain-peacocks,” Ms Burrup said.
Programme details are available at the library.
