AN Opotiki girl had her first haircut ever on Monday afternoon.
Grandmother Carol Hata said 10-year-old Bella Gill did not really want to have a haircut, but that they were just “tidying it up.”
Also at Bex’s Hair Studio for an appointment with Rebecca Sacco was Bella’s seven-year-old sister Shia, who had cut a bit of her fringe off when she was four years old. “Otherwise this would have been her first haircut also.”
“Bella told on me,” Shia said. “We probably would have noticed,” Mrs Hata said.
